Got up at 6 & had a look across at the falls. Sun hadn\u2019t got out but it was a fine sight. I rested again till 7:15 & then the outlook was grand indeed.<\/p>\n

I dressed & had breakfast, after which I ascended by the \u201clift\u201d to the roof &, oh, what a delightful view looking down upon the falls, Horseshoe, bridge, river & across to the American side, lovely in every sense, a perfect morning<\/u>, & tho\u2019 so high up, the spray is even floating in the air & very perceptible. I fancy I gave you the area as approximate to Hartlepool\u00a0harbour, rather<\/u> large. All seems so near & in so small an area, tho\u2019 so enormously great are the objects, such a feast for the eyes.
