Mosman, Sydney, July 12/98, 7:30 Tuesday morning.
It’s a very fine morning. We are to breakfast at ¼ to 8, go for ½ hour’s walk, then take the boat for Circular Quay.
My train leaves Sydney for Bathurst at 10:15, arriving at destination 5:25, crossing the Zig Zag mountains about midday which is one of the sights of the colonies. Now I will close my journal & post when in Sydney.
Good morning to you all & kisses for my lovely “Comely”.
Tell Mr. Leask I have been the guest of his cousin William over night & a pleasant time we’ve had.
